Job Description

Our client is seeking a Trust Officer to manage a portfolio of client company and trust structures, delivering a high standard of service and supporting the fiduciary management team. The role involves cultivating client relationships, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring alignment with legal and compliance requirements. Job Duties: 

  • Manage day-to-day administration of a portfolio of client cases.
  • Assist senior team members with transactions and client queries.
  • Ensure mutual understanding of client and organisational expectations throughout the relationship.
  • Maintain confidentiality and develop long-term, profitable client relationships.
  • Coordinate with investment advisors, asset managers, and other third parties.
  • Understand financial markets and their impact on client portfolios.
  • Identify and implement improvements to enhance client service and profitability.
  • Engage with professional intermediaries to support client business activities.
  • Develop new business by understanding client needs and expanding existing relationships.
  • Keep up-to-date with financial and economic developments relevant to offshore structures.
  • Manage risk by adhering to compliance policies and procedures, and reporting any issues as required.
  • Champion corporate values, promoting professionalism, teamwork, and leadership.
  • Meet pre-determined utilisation targets and manage work progress within financial benchmarks.
  • Participate actively in team meetings and maintain clear, accessible communication with colleagues.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of offshore fiduciary services, with at least two years' experience.
  • Proven experience in managing client relationships in the fiduciary services sector.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for engaging with clients and intermediaries.
  • Strong time management, organisational skills, and sound judgement.
  • Understanding of financial markets and general financial principles.
  • Knowledge of compliance issues and regulatory frameworks in fiduciary services.
  • Currently pursuing a relevant industry qualification.
