Trust Manager / Assistant Trust Manager

Job Description

Our client is seeking a Trust Manager or Assistant Trust Manager to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. This role involves the full lifecycle management of complex international fiduciary structures, supporting high-net-worth clients and ensuring regulatory compliance, commercial awareness, and excellent client service. You will provide mentoring to junior staff and contribute to the ongoing development and success of the business.

Job Duties:

  • Oversee the day-to-day administration and proactive management of client structures from onboarding through to termination
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date data and records for all entities in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Deliver client services in line with the company's values, vision, and service standards
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with clients and third parties, both verbally and in writing
  • Prepare thorough case summaries and documentation to support fiduciary decision-making and risk governance processes
  • Liaise with third-party service providers to execute client needs and build collaborative relationships
  • Accurately record time and support the achievement of utilisation and profitability targets
  • Complete regular reviews and workflows, resolving any identified issues and sharing learnings
  • Ensure all regulatory filings are submitted accurately and on time
  • Support and mentor junior colleagues, sharing knowledge and modelling professional behaviours
  • Act as an authorised signatory within approved limits
  • Assist with group projects and contribute to cross-functional collaboration
  • Occasionally travel for business as required

Job Requirements:

  • 5-10 years' experience working with high-net-worth international families and complex structures
  • Strong knowledge of local trust and company law, as well as regulatory frameworks
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex international fiduciary structures and relationships
  • Understanding of various asset classes including investments and property
  • Full awareness of internal policies and external compliance requirements including KYC, AML, CFT and GDPR
  • Experience with NavOne and Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to identify cross-selling opportunities
  • Ability to work independently while knowing when to escalate matters
  • Proven ability to act as a nominated alternate and director where required
  • Relevant professional qualifications such as STEP, ICSA, accountancy or legal
