Job Description

Our client seeks the ideal candidate to administer trusts and companies, prepare minutes and correspondence, and ensure client assets correctly identified and allocated.  He/she will possess good knowledge of customer products and processes to deal with non standard queries; refer on matters of a technical nature; maintain accurate records in client entity database including new client set up; train junior administrators; ensure correct filing of all returns; maintain proper records of time spent; ensure compliance with regulations; attend training and development meetings; monitor client transactions in accordance with AML regulations; report suspicions to MLRO; be proactive in assisting with streamlining and improving the running of the office by suggesting improvements; ensure interim and annual performance reviews completed on time; review bank statements to ensure Payment Requisition Forms and Incoming Funds Forms prepared; comply with health and safety regulations; prepare payment instructions; assist with clearance of points arising from administration/independent/ formation/closure reviews; assist with collection of fees.
The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of Jersey Financial Services legislation; professional qualification in accordance with table 5 or the Trust and Company Business Codes of Practice to qualify as a Category ā€œCā€ employee; good communication, clerical and business acumen skills; good knowledge of offshore financial services and the regulatory environment; MS Office competency; good team player; innovative; commitment to study in own time in order to progress with professional exams to at least the Diploma level, ultimately leading to Full Professional level.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
