Trust & Company Administrator

Job Description

Our client is seeking a proactive Trust and Company Administrator to support the day-to-day administration of trusts and companies. Based in Jersey, the role involves assisting the team in ensuring that all entities under administration meet their statutory obligations. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong desire to develop their knowledge in offshore financial services, regulatory compliance, and internal company procedures.

 

Job Duties:

  • Assist with daily administration tasks for assigned trusts and companies.
  • Ensure entities under administration meet statutory obligations and compliance requirements.
  • Accurately record time spent on each entity and update records on a daily basis.
  • Strive to achieve high standards of client service, ensuring all duties are undertaken with integrity and diligence.
  • Develop knowledge of the company's internal policies, procedures, and the local regulatory environment.
  • Ensure adherence to legal responsibilities and report suspicions or complaints as required.
  • Contribute to the smooth running of the business by assisting with process improvements and streamlining.
  • Maintain clear and accurate records for all assigned entities, ensuring efficiency in administration tasks.

 

Job Requirements:

  • A Level school leaver/graduate with a minimum of five Grade C GCSEs, including Maths and English, and two 'A' Levels or equivalent.
  • Strong general communication skills and good clerical and business acumen.
  • Basic knowledge of offshore financial services and the regulatory environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to develop knowledge of company-specific software.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and assist with process improvements.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, with a focus on relationship-building.
  • Willingness to engage in further studies, with a commitment to progress through professional exams, ideally starting with Foundation/Certificate level.
