Trust Administrator

Job Description

Our client is seeking a Trust Administrator to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. The role involves coordinating and carrying out the administration of a portfolio of private client trusts, private equity portfolios, and companies under the supervision of the Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with trust experience looking to further develop their skills in a dynamic environment.

Job Duties:

  • Administer a portfolio of private client trusts and companies
  • Liaise with intermediaries across various jurisdictions
  • Handle a wide range of client queries and projects
  • Assist with bookkeeping under supervision
  • Support the preparation and review of trust and company accounts
  • Review minutes and transaction documents, liaising with the company secretarial team
  • Communicate professionally with intermediaries by email, letter and telephone
  • Assist in preparing client reports and financial updates
  • Provide timely information to the Tax department
  • Apply internal risk management procedures
  • Produce high-quality documentation and correspondence
  • Complete daily time recording
  • Meet chargeability, WIP, recoverability and debtor targets
  • Meet all internal task deadlines

Job Requirements:

  • 2-3 years' experience in a private client trust environment
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards
  • Well-organised and capable of meeting tight deadlines
  • Excellent administrative and numeracy skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Competent in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel and Access
  • Ability to manage and prioritise workload independently
  • Good understanding of trust and company structures
  • Professional and confident approach with strong interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to ask questions and seek guidance when needed
  • Adaptable, with a calm and flexible attitude under pressure
  • A collaborative team player
