Trainee Reablement Support Worker (TRSW) at Family Nursing and Home Care

This exciting new role will provide guided reablement therapy, personal care, monitoring, assisting with continuous healthcare checklists, nursing interventions and support to patients within their own home.
The focus is on observing, guiding and encouraging the person who uses services to do things themselves, to rebuild confidence and improve skills that may have been lost. You will provide short intensive time limited services to maximise independence and promote independent living.
This is a training post with formal Assistant Practitioner training foundation degree (therapy) and practical training using a competency framework. The aim is to achieve RSW competency within 2 years or commencement of the programme and will be supported by regular reviews and supervision.
