Trainee Greenkeeper at Royal Jersey Golf Club

Your responsibilities:
• Assist with the daily preparation of the golf course to the highest presentation standards.
• Mow and maintain greens, tees, fairways, rough and other playing areas.
• Assist with bunker maintenance, divot repairs, brushing and general course set-up.
• Learn and assist with fertilising, top-dressing and approved turf treatments.
• Assist with irrigation, aeration and other seasonal maintenance work.
• Contribute to course improvement and construction projects, including tees, greens and bunkers.
• Operate and maintain greenkeeping machinery safely and effectively.
• Keep tools, machinery and storage areas clean, organised and well maintained.
• Follow all health and safety procedures, including the safe use of machinery, tools and PPE.
• Work positively as part of the greenkeeping team and develop good working relationship
