Our client is seeking an ambitious and experienced Senior Trust Officer on a temporary basis to work with a small number of high-net-worth individuals, providing exceptional client service while collaborating with colleagues and clients. Job Duties:

  • Manage the administration and accounting needs of high-net-worth clients and their investment or philanthropic activities
  • Support managers in organising and addressing tasks and responding to ad hoc client requests
  • Handle incoming correspondence efficiently, seeking guidance when necessary
  • Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed to manage risk
  • Maintain awareness of local regulatory matters and escalate issues when needed
  • Brief colleagues on tasks during periods of absence and provide reciprocal support to ensure high service standards
  • Prepare attendance notes of telephone communications and circulate to relevant staff
  • Prepare minutes and documents for meetings when required
  • Monitor aged debt and work with the Accounts Department and Directors to maintain control over debts
  • Ensure periodic client reviews are completed according to the director's timetable
  • Mentor and support junior staff under supervision from the Manager
  • Undertake projects and technical transactions as required
  • Perform other tasks as directed by the Manager, Management Team, or Directors

 

Job Requirements:

  • Educated to A-level or degree standard
  • Willingness to complete a professional or relevant qualification
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in trust and company administration or financial services
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong IT skills
  • Comprehensive understanding of trust and financial administration
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Ability to manage and motivate staff and work on own initiative
