Job Description

Our client is seeking a Senior Assistant Relationship Manager on a temporary basis for a period of 6 months to support the Wealth Management team in Jersey. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional service, knowledge, and expertise to both clients and internal and external stakeholders. Job Duties:

  • Monitor the central email account daily, coordinating with the team to prioritise and action tasks appropriately
  • Input loans, deposits, payments, and other ad-hoc transactions on a daily basis
  • Liaise with clients and Referral Officers to communicate account positions and any changes
  • Review daily transaction reports to ensure correct processing and settlement, and identify clients requiring cash management
  • Confirm securities, treasury transactions, and execution prices to clients or Referral Officers, ensuring accuracy within agreed time limits
  • Investigate and resolve settlement and custody queries received from clients and Referral Officers
  • Conduct client call-backs for incoming and outgoing payments, documenting rationales and updating transaction profiles
  • Participate in ongoing transaction monitoring processes, ensuring detailed narratives are recorded in the system
  • Manage diary entries for future transactions, including payments and roll-over of fixed-term deposits and loans
  • Monitor incoming cash flows and address issues with unapplied funds to ensure resolution
  • Perform daily cash management tasks, checking reports and accounts for overdrawn balances, trades settling, maturing deposits, client credit positions, and standing instructions
  • Update Referral Officers and clients on relevant account activities via email
  • Respond to client queries in a timely and accurate manner, including providing ad-hoc statements, valuations, and resolving payment or pricing queries
  • Take notes during client meetings and produce call reports
  • Participate in various Wealth Management projects as needed
  • Coordinate the request and receipt of signed account acknowledgements when required
  • Prepare fee letters for new and existing clients, detailing charges for transactions and services
  • Communicate corporate actions to clients and ensure timely instructions are provided

 

Job Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of banking and banking operational processes
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a range of tasks from basic administrative duties to complex client requests
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all responsibilities
