Our client is seeking a Policy & Procedure Specialist to join them on a fixed-term basis for six months. Reporting to the Director, this role will focus on reviewing, developing, and implementing operational policies and procedures across Private Client, Corporate, and Funds services. The successful candidate will ensure that all internal documentation remains compliant with legal, regulatory, and strategic requirements, while supporting the business with risk management and process optimisation.
Job Duties:
- Design, draft, and implement policies and procedures tailored to client service areas
- Review and update policies to reflect legislative changes and business needs
- Align internal practices with regulatory frameworks and industry best practices
- Develop accessible and user-friendly guidance materials for company-wide use
- Provide expert advice on policy interpretation and application
- Conduct jurisdictional market research and provide data-driven insights
- Consult with senior management and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement
- Analyse existing workflows and recommend process enhancements
- Work closely with legal, compliance, and risk teams to manage policy-related risks
- Deliver training and workshops to support policy implementation
- Establish and maintain governance frameworks and policy KPIs
- Ensure effective communication and engagement across teams for policy adherence
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through expert policy guidance
- Monitor policy compliance and lead on required policy changes to meet business goals
Job Requirements:
- Strong analytical and research skills, with proven experience in policy development
- Ability to convey complex information clearly to stakeholders and senior leaders
- Experience working in a regulated environment with understanding of legal and regulatory obligations
- Ability to assess risks and implement effective governance solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven experience in delivering training and engaging with internal stakeholders
- Strong organisational and project management abilities
- Confident in presenting research and recommendations to senior decision-makers
- Familiarity with corporate, trust, and fund administration environments is desirable
- Flexible and proactive approach to change and process improvement
