Job Description

Our client is seeking a Client Director to join their Fund Services team on a fixed-term contract for a period of nine months. This is a senior leadership role, responsible for the oversight of a portfolio of fund clients-both regulated and unregulated-as well as the day-to-day management of a team of administrators. The position requires close collaboration with senior colleagues to support the delivery of high-quality client service, drive financial performance, and contribute to the strategic development of the business.

Job Duties:

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, overseeing the delivery of administration services across a portfolio of fund entities
  • Ensure client deliverables are met to the highest standard by coordinating team performance and liaising with internal stakeholders and external parties
  • Serve as a director on the boards of client companies and other internal service companies where required
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, their advisors, and intermediaries
  • Recruit, develop, and motivate team members, promoting a high-performance culture aligned with company values
  • Set clear objectives and manage performance using structured feedback, coaching, and training
  • Manage billing processes in line with client contracts and ensure utilisation and receivables targets are met
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell services to existing clients, contributing to new business development
  • Participate in onboarding and offboarding processes for client entities
  • Support the implementation of the business strategy and improvement of operational procedures
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with internal policies and procedures, proactively managing risk and reporting breaches or complaints
  • Act as an authorised signatory/officer and provide input to committees and working groups as needed

Job Requirements:

  • At least 10 years of experience in fiduciary administration or financial services, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior management role
  • Professional qualification such as lawyer, chartered accountant, chartered surveyor, or ICSA
  • Experience acting as a director on the board of client companies
  • Strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and tax issues affecting Jersey and international entities
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Capable of making decisions within defined corporate policies and procedures
  • High level of technical knowledge in fund administration
  • Strong organisational, time management, and IT skills
  • A proactive, solution-oriented approach with the ability to work under pressure
