Job Description

This is an exciting role, tracking new client take on and ensure its completion; preparing engagement letters on take on; tracking and chasing engagement letters for tax clients; updating databases tracking work flows; completing client risk reviews including maintaining risk review register and acting as contact for queries; monitoring client and job codes to ensure they are closed and files archived; communicating with tax clients concerning tax filings, Revenue Jersey correspondence, information requests, payment and information chasers; tracking UK corporate and other UK tax payments due by clients by checking HMRC portal to ensure clients have paid; ensuring company accounts uploaded to tagging services to allow for submission of accounts with UK corporate tax returns to HMRC; organising, arranging and coordinating meetings and other general diary management; handling external or internal communication; sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing post.
Candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills at all levels; be highly organised and able to multi task effectively; motivated to perform and committed to effective client service; proficient in Word and Excel; excellent attention to detail and accuracy; ability to resolve queries and issues; good time management with a pragmatic, solutions focused approach; able to work independently as well as part of a team; confident individual with a proactive attitude; able to multi-task and keep calm under pressure; at least one year experience in an administration role; experience of working in a Tax department is desirable but not essential.
Role could be full or part time role.  Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
