Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Sustainability Senior Associate to join their Advisory team. This full-time role involves working closely with Managers, Directors, and Partners to drive sustainability engagements across various industries. The role will be based in Jersey, with occasional travel to other offices as required. Job Duties:

  • Provide clients with practical advice on achieving their sustainability goals
  • Apply knowledge of Environmental, Social and Governance, climate risk, and sustainable finance regulations
  • Analyse business and investment portfolio risks and opportunities related to climate risk and the transition to net zero
  • Prepare and contribute to reports and proposals for clients
  • Conduct regulatory and risk analysis on emerging Environmental, Social and Governance regulations and trends within Asset and Wealth Management
  • Network with clients and other professionals across the advisory network to strengthen relationships
  • Support the development of technology-enabled sustainability solutions
  • Collaborate on larger sustainability projects across different locations
  • Engage in broader business consulting and transformation projects as required

 

Job Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of relevant consultancy or advisory experience in sustainability
  • Experience in Environmental, Social and Governance, sustainability, climate risk, or environmental sciences
  • Degree or postgraduate qualification in sustainability, Environmental, Social And Governance, climate, or environment-related fields
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • Ability to produce business reports and meet multiple deadlines
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Digital analysis and presentation experience e.g. Alteryx, PowerBI
  • Awareness of relevant sustainability and financial services regulations
  • Ability to support and mentor less experienced team members
  • Experience in the Asset & Wealth Management industry
  • Knowledge of sustainability regulations, carbon accounting, and impact assessment
  • Experience working with financial services in the Channel Islands
  • Familiarity with technology for gathering sustainability-related data
