Sustainability Manager

This role is responsible for leading the operational plan to implement Environmental Sustainability Strategy toward achieving a net-zero carbon footprint and implementing Corporate Social Responsibility programme in line with Environmental Impact Policy.  Duties involve working closely with Local Practice Managers, Sustainability Champions and other internal stakeholders; coordinating Global Environmental Steering Committee meetings; supporting data collation at jurisdictional level and monitoring KPIs; helping develop environmental learning programme with information resources and training workshops; coordination of internal and external stakeholders; helping deliver community focused initiatives; keeping up to date with changes in environmental legislation and initiatives including international legislation.
Candidate must have at least 3 years experience in similar role/environmental background; direct experience in employee engagement and/or sustainability initiatives is highly desirable; project management accreditation or academic qualification in an environmental related discipline is preferred but not essential; proven track record of project management skills; communication skills at all levels; proactive, innovative and able to work independently; strong operational background, able to lead several initiatives across multiple offices and time zones; very strong organisational skills and the ability to create, manage and monitor detailed plans; good team player; proficiency in MS Office and good digital proficiency.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
