A brand new opportunity has arisen for SOC Support Technicians with our client in Jersey. It will be 24/7 support role. Main purpose of the role includes ensuring incidents, problems, changes and customer requests are resolved efficiently and correctly across all CIIM networks and infrastructure that the SOC have responsibility for monitoring and supporting. Daily responsibilities include, but not limited to, answering customer calls, problem logging, fault investigation, system & service monitoring, routine maintenance, Data Centre access control, Cloud and Managed Services provisioning, and assisting with relevant project work where required.
Applicants must be a technically skilled and highly motivated individual with strong analytical and problem solving skills. Good verbal and written communication skills are essential for the role as well as strong customer service skills. Ideally, the candidate will have a basic Knowledge of IP routing and switching environments and/or IT, experience of working within a Customer Service or Operational environment with knowledge of Microsoft Office. The successful candidate must be educated at least GCSE level with good pass results, however, a qualification in computer science or a related field is desirable. Ideally, the applicant will hold a clean driving license.
