Our client is a rapidly growing specialist IT re-seller and technical services service provider, with a Guernsey based headquarters. They are also expanding into other jurisdictions. On their behalf we are urgently seeking a service desk analyst to be based in Guernsey.
The main responsibility will be to respond to support calls and assist end users with the diagnosis and resolution of desktop, network and server issues.
Candidates will have worked in a help-desk or a technical IT position for at least four years. Have a good knowledge of Microsoft desktop operating systems and software. Good experience with Microsoft remote desktop services and/or Citrix XenApp,
You will support Microsoft and third-party application software including M365, carry out health checks and preventative maintenance checks. Also be familiar with PC/server/printer hardware and understand Hyper-V and/or VMWare.
Accurate record-keeping and good time management are also essential, along with good communication skills and attention to detail.
