A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Trust officer to join an independent, owner managed Trust business here in Guernsey. You will play an active role in a team of trust and company administrators working closely with Trust Managers and Directors to deliver a consistently high quality service in the daily administration of a portfolio of Trust, Company and Private Client relationships.
The Senior Trust Officer will be given responsibility for a portfolio of clients and will be expected to know the affairs of those clients closely. They will maintain all of their clients' records including drafting minutes and correspondence, maintaining client due diligence and keeping all bank accounts reconciled and record all transactions. They will be responsible for dealing with matters of a complex nature with the need for less support and guidance.
Qualified or part qualified applicants would be preferred or those willing to undertake study for a professional qualification such as STEP or ICSA. Our client will however also consider applications from trust professionals with a minimum of 4 or 5 years' previous proven trust and company administration experience.
Candidates will have strong interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication skills coupled with excellent time and organisational skills. It is also expected that you will be an enthusiastic team player with strong IT skills.
