Job Description

This is a great role assisting in administering a portfolio of trust and company clients, preparing documents for bank transfers, lodgement/release of instruments placed with banks for safekeeping, emails and fees, minutes of statutory and other meetings, changes in Registered Office/Shareholders/Directors/Secretary; filing documents in accordance with Procedures Manuals; preparing application forms for bank and investment accounts; advising trust officers of deficiencies in statutory records; preparing urgent documentation if non-availability of Trust Secretary; liaising with accounts clerks regarding receipt of documents for accounting records; supporting training.
Requirements are 5 years experience of Trust services industry or similar regulated business and of Trust and Company administration; good awareness of Jersey local trust and company legislation and practice, including knowledge of AML Laws and Orders; attention to detail; ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team; strong time management and organisational skills with an ability to meet deadlines; competency in MS packages; training will be provided for Jobstream, Metastorm and Virtual Cabinet; hold/working towards STEP Diploma/similar; support provided towards costs for further study.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
