Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Trust Officer/Associate to join their growing Fiduciary Management team. The role involves assisting with the management of fiduciary accounts under the Private Client Fiduciary Services (PCFS) business, including trusts, companies, foundations, and nomineeships. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced trust professional to contribute to the management of complex and bespoke services, supporting both internal teams and clients. The position requires strong leadership, a client-focused approach, and a deep understanding of trust law and fiduciary responsibilities.
Job Duties:
- Assist the Fiduciaries in managing a portfolio of trusts, companies, foundations, and nomineeships in coordination with other Fiduciary Management teams and the Professional Services Group.
- Support Fiduciaries with regular client and advisor visits, helping to build and broaden client relationships.
- Provide technical input and analysis of client requests, liaising with Fiduciaries as needed.
- Assist with fee reviews and ensure work in progress (WIP) and fee collection targets are met, reviewing WIP and debtors for recoverability.
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures and assist Fiduciaries in addressing any audit points.
- Sign client communications in accordance with company policies.
- Take on coaching and mentoring roles when appropriate.
- Foster a positive working environment and contribute to team development.
Job Requirements:
- Proven leadership and team management experience, with excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Relevant professional qualifications, such as STEP, ICSA, or equivalent (highly desirable).
- Strong knowledge of trust law, fiduciary principles, and financial regulations.
- Client-focused, with a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to finding solutions.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to analyse complex financial and legal information and provide actionable advice.
