This is a hands-on senior technical role for a candidate passionate about ever changing infrastructure services, particularly towards Cloud computing and technically expert in one or more key technologies. He/she will architect, implement and maintain secure services; reviewing, replicating and troubleshooting infrastructure issues and bringing about timely resolutions; undertaking group-wide projects and systems maintenance, including upgrades, new features and new implementations, system and Cloud admin; working through project lifecycle: requirement-gathering, solution-selection, working with suppliers, testing, final delivery and ongoing support; being innovative; being exposed to MS enterprise services, including Active Directory, Windows server management and management of Microsoft SCCM services; Enterprise experience delivering cloud-based services such as MS Azure and Office 365 platform; Citrix, Cisco, SAN.
Candidate will have MS/Citrix/Cisco/HPE qualification; at least 5 years proven skills and experience in use of IT resources, maximising benefit from existing investment in hardware and software; managing multi-jurisdictional MS corporate environment, utilising on-prem and cloud services; experience of technical project management such as leading small/medium technical projects; third-party management and task allocation; information security new and emerging technologies and legislation that affects/potentially effects internal and external client data security; technical project supplier management – assist with the creation of scope of works and-ensuring delivery against statement of works and agreed costs; 3rd line support and problem management; initiative; analytical skills; focused on customer delivery.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
