Senior Operations Administrator, Fund Operations

Our client is seeking to fill this exciting role responsible for submitting trade instructions to various fund managers and agents for clients, running daily control reports, confirming trade instructions with funds, managing the in-house database of fund information, and overseeing the transfer workflows relating to client instructions, ensuring client trades and queries relating to these are processed in good time, supporting monitoring outstanding fund trades and chasing contract notes, escalating issues arising from instructions being chased; supporting with AML requirements for new Fund Placements and ongoing nominee holdings.
Requirements are working knowledge of Hedge Funds and Unit Trust funds; client focus mindset to ensure that all client queries/enquiries are dealt with; ability to work to tight deadlines; good interpersonal skills to allow for a good relationship with external and internal contacts; proficient with investigating and have good problem-solving skills to be able to resolve queries and initiate solutions using own initiative; a bonus would be CISI qualifications and knowledge of Securities Operations and other operational areas.  Full training provided.
