Senior Officer, Regulatory Reporting

This is an exciting role monitoring due diligence and applying checks; data input, reconciliation and remediation with a view to improving and maintaining data integrity; review and advise on completion of outgoing due diligence; assist with FATCA & CRS classifications of client entities; assist with applications for GIIN registrations and other tax portal registrations; maintain and reconcile register of GIINs and other tax portal accounts; assist in monitoring and managing tax communications; collating data for reporting, processing xml files, submitting reports and tracking progress; dealing with reconciliations, errors or audit enquiries; play active role in Economic Substance working group; monitor annual filing deadlines; ensure fees charged are correct; identify when regulatory filing penalties arise and the cause to reduce same; comply with local regulatory and AML/CFT requirements; report suspicious transactions to MLRO; support internal audit/compliance; contribute to projects, system changes or regulatory reporting process enhancements.
Candidate must be self motivated and adaptable with eye for accuracy and attention to detail; ability and willingness to learn; methodical and organised; team player; willingness to use own initiative; strong communication skills essential; passion for delivering excellence.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
