Job Description

Our client is ideally seeking a client-facing funds professional seeking to build book of new clients with potential to transition back to client servicing/former client-facing professional now in fund administration sales role.  He/she will be professionally qualified as chartered accountant/equivalent and/or holding relevant business-oriented or economics degree/masters; 7-10 years funds experience at senior manager level/above; strong relationship builder; strong understanding of fund structuring and regulatory frameworks relating to private capital strategies; demonstrated ability to win new clients and achieve/exceed sales targets; innovative and proactive; extensive network; team player with strong communication; experience in running sales processes, negotiations and closing deals towards CFO, CEO and board levels; a plus would be experience in one+ jurisdiction (Jersey, Guernsey, Ireland and/or Luxembourg) and from consulting/auditing/M&A/investor relations/fund management 
Postholder will develop and implement strategic initiatives to win new mandates and expand client base; identify opportunities to cross-sell services to existing clients, enhancing client relationships and maximizing revenue potential; identify and build meaningful relationships with intermediaries and participate in industry events, networks, and conferences; maintain in-depth understanding of products, services, systems, and capabilities; assist with and manage entire sales process, from prospecting and client meetings to proposal negotiations and contract signing; identify and implement business development initiatives to penetrate new customer segments and markets; stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, best practices, market conditions, and competitor activities; work closely with internal teams to ensure cohesive approach to sales and client management and provide tailored customer solutions; conduct thorough market research to identify and target potential clients, developing strategies to attract and secure new business opportunities.
