Job Description

Great opportunity in varied and challenging role dealing with generalist HR areas such as employee relations, recruitment and data interpretation and analysis.  Postholder will act as contact for employee relations issues; coach and develop people managers; focus on employee engagement, highlighting potential issues with people manager/Practice Area Lead; monitor ensure proactive measures implemented to maintain high retention levels; drive implementation of employee engagement activities; identify and plan for resource needs including recruitment; source external candidates and take part in interviewing; approve candidate's offer and plan for integration; support managers to drive goal planning, performance coaching and performance reviews; seek support for specific developmental needs; support managers to plan for salary and bonus reviews; act as key stakeholder in implementation of change initiatives; tailor centrally-designed programmes; participate in development of processes to support promotions, succession planning and growth.
Requirements are commercial awareness, excellent organisation and communication skills, degree or equivalent; CIPD qualified (Graduate or Member status); at least 4  years' relevant HR generalist experience; experience of working in a Legal or Partnership environment; experience of advising managers on employee relations matters;  experience with HR systems; excellent communication skills with the ability to influence; collaborative working style; good team player; sensitivity in dealing with employee relations matters; proactive problem solving approach; solid commercial acumen.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
