Senior Financial Accountant
Job Description
Fixed term 9 month contract based in Jersey or London with 3 days per week in the office.
This is a critical role responsible for financial analysis on a range of corporate accounting topics and providing insightful recommendations to updates in accounting policies. The postholder will undertake year-end accounts and statutory consolidations; processing financial transactions and preparing monthly management accounts; involved in planning annual audits and producing statutory financial statements; resolving issues such as intercompany/bank reconciliation; being exposed to multiple jurisdictions; preparing and reporting of MI, cash flow forecasting, and key involvement in annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting process; analysis to identify important data insights; involvement in external audit process; preparing financial statements under Swiss GAAP, IFRS and FRS 102; driving improvements and change.
The successful candidate will be ACA/A/ACCA/CIMA/qualified (or equivalent) with 3 years PQE; strong Financial Reporting Consolidation experience; able to work under pressure, prioritise, multi-task, and work to deadlines and under pressure; strong MS Excel and general system proficiency; strong communication and analytical skills; flexible and self-motivated; good team player; working knowledge of SunSystems, Q&A, or PowerBI helpful but not essential.
