A leading professional services firm is seeking a Finance Operations Manager to lead its central Finance team.
This role oversees day-to-day financial operations-such as billing, credit control, client payments, reconciliations, and compliance-ensuring processes align with regulatory standards and internal policies. The successful candidate will manage a team of finance administrators, driving performance, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include stakeholder engagement, overseeing audits, implementing financial controls, and supporting cash flow monitoring. Candidates must hold a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) and bring significant experience in finance operations, preferably in a legal or professional services setting. Strong leadership, stakeholder management, regulatory knowledge, and analytical skills are essential, as is proficiency in Excel and finance systems (ideally Aderant).
