Job Description

Reports to Director and MLRO/MLCO
The purpose of the role is to support the Directors in carrying out the compliance function for BRL, ensuring that Clients comply with the relevant laws, regulations, policies and procedures. The role holder is also expected to carry out take on reviews.
Key responsibilities
• To complete the client file reviews for BRL client entities as required (take on/periodic/ad-hoc reviews). Manage outstanding action points to closure;• Assist with any changes or improvements that may be made to the client onboarding / review process;• Maintain and monitor compliance registers to include breaches, errors, exceptions, conflicts, PEPs and new/loss of business;• Advise on and assist with the processing of required client due diligence information for all clients to ensure this meets internal and statutory standards, and liaison with administrators where necessary;• Assist with the preparation of compliance related management information and reports;• Consider or suggest ways of improving internal procedures and practices encountered whilst performing principal responsibilities and assist with their implementation;• To assist in the preparation of policies and procedures and compliance monitoring programme;• Monitor for regulatory and legislative updates and advise the team accordingly;• To champion a compliance culture within BRL;• Manage screening tool for BRL;• Assist employees with queries that may raise on compliance or client due diligence issues; and• Other projects as assigned and other duties that may be deemed appropriate to this role.
