Our client is seeking to appoint a Senior Company Secretarial Officer. The purpose of this position is to provide company secretarial and associated services to a group of clients in our client's Guernsey office.
Our client is open to part-time applications and can be flexible in terms of your experience, however knowledge of the Guernsey funds industry and investment structures is essential.
You will assist in co-ordinating all fund / company secretarial matters, including production of Board packs, preparation of minutes for Board meetings, and follow up on action points. Maintenance of up to date and accurate statutory records and registers for a variety of corporate entities. Ensure accurate investor records are maintained and process all investor changes / transfers thereon. Assist with the opening of new bank accounts for the fund and corporate entities across a range of banking platforms, and work closely with the compliance function to ensure the compliance monitoring is adhered to and all regulatory filings are made in a timely manner
The ideal candidate will be expected to be qualified or studying towards a relevant professional qualification (preferably ICSA Certificate level or an accountancy qualification), have sound technical financial services knowledge, and exposure to the Guernsey Funds industry and an understanding of local regulatory framework is essential.
You should be able to work as a key part of the existing client administration team, have excellent organisational skills, good computer literacy skills are essential, as well as strong interpersonal skills. You will need to be quick to learn new systems and be great with people.
