Job Description

This is a great role providing trust and company admin and client contact for a complex client portfolio, which may contain some key clients, responding to technical queries and supporting team training, mentoring and development.  Role will maintain accurate time billing modules; meet centrally defined, chargeable time requirements and other specific targets; develop strong client relationships; raise fee notes on a timely basis; maintain risk understanding; excellent understanding of legal and regulatory requirements; ensure breaches/incidents identified; contribute to operating procedures; ensure records and statutory registers maintained and updated; prepare and review compliance files, minutes, forms and systems for set up/closure; oversee trustee/board meetings and prepare draft minutes; prepare annual and regulatory returns; clear client and investment reviews; understand tax issues; generate and check banking instructions; act as delegate signatory on client bank accounts; assist with projects.
Candidate will hold/be working towards JFSC qualification; have excellent understanding of trust and company administration, laws and legal & regulatory concepts; ability to analyse a set of financial accounts and identify areas for discussion; experience in trust and company business is essential; strong presentation, communication, analytical, problem solving and delegation skills; self-motivated; ability to effectively prioritise and use initiative in fast paced environment; team player; ability to work to deadlines; great admin and organisation; good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook; ability to learn systems and office equipment; ability to multi-task and work to deadlines; attention to detail and accuracy.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
