Job Description

Our client is seeking a Senior Associate, Data Steward to join their People Operations team based in Jersey or Guernsey. This full-time position, requiring 37.5 contracted hours per week, is central to delivering a great employee experience by leveraging a deep understanding of people policies and procedures. Acting as a subject matter expert in data stewardship, analysis, and engagement, the role supports streamlined communication across stakeholder groups and drives process efficiencies within human capital data management. Job Duties: 

  • Coordinate human capital data, ensuring data governance and controls, including regulatory and ad hoc reporting
  • Provide data assurance and quality support for human capital data, including system maintenance and development
  • Undertake technical documentation and develop innovative, technology-focused solutions
  • Identify data ownership models for human capital data
  • Address technology issues by raising and managing tickets with global teams


Job Requirements: 

  • Experience in data analysis and working with complex data sets
  • Proficiency in visualising and reporting data, with strong presentation and communication skills
  • Experience with human capital/human resources technologies
  • Skilled in data quality assurance and governance
  • Familiarity with system integration
  • Competence in preparing technical documentation for processes, data, and access management
  • Creative, innovative, and problem-solving mindset with the ability to provide support
  • Knowledge of GDPR and relevant data regulations
  • Experience in developing and implementing process documentation to support human capital policies and programmes
  • Proficiency with Workday and understanding of data migration activities
  • Ability to handle pressure and manage conflicting demands effectively
  • Professional approach with the ability to build rapport at all organisational levels
