Job Description

Purpose of role is to deliver excellent admin service to varied portfolio of clients, maintain and enhance client relationships  and supervise and develop junior team members.  Postholder will review data and maintain data integrity; liaise with clients; maintain statutory books; oversee NRL returns and HMRC filings; coach and supervise staff; delegate tasks and monitor staff workflow; review payment instructions; understand different requirements/process for payments for high risk clients; conduct client reviews; analyse work in progress and prepare billing control forms; monitor and manage aged debts; schedule and attend meetings; prepare agendas and board packs; draft minutes and resolutions for meetings; prepare checklists for client set up, power of attorney, investments, distributions and drawdowns; prepare Client Acceptance and Risk Assessment; assist with review of accounts/financial statements; request CDD documents; provide team systems and team specific procedures as well as back up. 
Requirements are a Table 5 Qualification and sound academic background; desirably studying for/willing to study for a table 4 qualification; 4 years relevant industry administration experience with at least 3 years’ experience in running own portfolio; experience of developing and coaching others on a one to one basis; working knowledge of MS Office; understanding of current local finance industry legislation and regulatory requirements; understanding of basic client financial statements; able to manage conflicting and demanding deadlines; ability to delegate and coach; team player; flexibility; motivated; proactive; strong commitment to client service excellence.
Five years of continuous residency in Jersey required.
