Job Description

Great role maintaining Purchase Ledger in accordance with procedures manual and preparing batches to input to general ledger; ensuring recording and distribution of invoices received to obtain management authorisation and enable settlement of invoices by Faster payments or banking instruction; receive expense claims from staff, process and prepare payment schedule for HR to enable reimbursement through payroll and/or settlement of corporate credit card accounts; prepare and analyse daily reports to ensure accuracy of data and compliance with internal policies; administer document archiving procedure for Finance Department in accordance with regulatory requirements to ensure an efficient storage and retrieval process.
Requirements are at least one year's experience in finance department using Purchase ledger system ideally/similar finance system; must be competent Accounts Administrator with strong basic Excel skills to enable input to and referral to complex spreadsheets; good communication skills at all levels.
Based in Jersey or Guernsey.
