Job Description

Great role administering varied client portfolio, reviewing and escalating data amendments, and maintaining statutory books.  Duties involve supervising, coaching and monitoring workflow for junior staff; overseeing client appropriate regulatory documentation such as NRL returns and HMRC filings; delegating/reviewing payments instructions and receipts; conducting reviews on own clients; analysing work in process for own clients; preparing billing control forms; sending and settling client invoices; monitoring and managing aged debts; scheduling and attending meetings; preparing and circulating agendas, board packs, reports and draft minutes and resolutions; preparing checklists for power of attorney, distributions, set up, investments and drawdowns; preparation of Client Acceptance and Risk Assessment; assisting with review of accounts/financial statements; requesting CDD documentation; liaising JFSC and banks; supporting on team systems, back up and specific procedures.
Requirements are Table 5 Qualification; sound academic background; studying for/willingness to study for Table 4 qualification; 4 years relevant industry administration experience with at least 3 years’ experience in running own portfolio; experience developing and coaching on 1:1 basis; experience administering portfolios for UHNW private/family office clients and understanding their needs; understanding requirements for high risk clients; able to delegate and coach; team player; flexible; working knowledge of MS Office; understanding of current local finance industry legislation, regulatory requirements and basic client financial statements; able to manage deadlines and organise workload; able to work under pressure; flexible; motivated; strong commitment to client service excellence; proactive.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
