A specialist life-insurance-based, wealth management client are seeking to appoint a Securities Administrator to work in their Investment Management team.
This is an interesting and varied role, delivering a high level of service to both internal and external parties. Working within a specialist team supporting the wider organisation, you will act as a liaison with other parts of the group and external customers. You will also be responsible for the efficient functioning of the investment team's activities covering a broad range of tasks.
You will need to have a good understanding of investment markets combined with a comprehensive knowledge of securities administration, as well as strong relationship management and customer service skills. You must have the ability to take the initiative to suggest and implement improvements to processes and procedures, and be able to prioritise your workload in order to meet deadlines. You will also need the ability to work to a high standard and to monitor those standards to ensure high levels of accuracy. Experience in using online investment, custodian and banking systems would be an advantage.
