Our client is seeking to appoint a Sales and Business Development Officer, based in Guernsey the role involves delivering end of year budgeted sales and growing the company's market share across all relevant sectors by proactively generating sales of products and services. The sectors include retail, commercial, domestic, marine, and aviation, and whilst the primary focus will be on the Guernsey market, the successful candidate may also be expected to cover sales development for Jersey.
The role requires developing and following through on potential sales opportunities and building excellent relationships with customers and stakeholders. You will be expected to be capable of managing your workload, planning ahead, and communicating effectively and in a timely manner with colleagues.
You will need to have proven sales experience within a commercial environment, be a self-starter, be able to act on your own initiative, able to communicate at all levels, have excellent organisational skills, be a team player, with a high standard of IT literacy.
