Our client is seeking to appoint a Risk Reviewer to undertake the periodic review process of the trust department.
You will review all client files and management information systems to ensure they are being maintained in accordance with agreed standards, risk rating clients and ensuring appropriate levels of screening are carried out to ensure adherence to the legislation requirements and to identify risk factors, monitor client business, codes of practice and ensure compliance with policies and procedures, Guernsey laws and regulations, and where required international regulations.
You will review customers CDD to ensure it is complete, up to date and complies with local regulatory requirements and relevant policies and procedures, ensure any potential risks or breaches are identified and managed appropriately, and undertake risk focused thematic and deep dive compliance monitoring reviews.
The successful candidate will have 2 years minimum experience with good knowledge of trust and company law, fiduciary principles and regulatory requirements in appropriate jurisdictions, will have and maintain an awareness of industry best practice and developments in other jurisdictions. You will have excellent organisational and administrative skills, have the ability to work accurately and independently as well as within a team environment that may be subject to time restrains, be self-motivated, risk aware, be an analytical thinker, with strong computer skills.
