Great role developing and producing management information and supporting regulatory reporting; maintaining and monitoring Risk and Compliance registers as part of control framework; helping deliver AML/CFT Induction training to new joiners; actioning Law Society of Jersey CPD exemptions and returns and assisting with annual audit; helping maintain CDD Team New Business Control Sheet to ensure data integrity; helping prepare Committee and Board papers; facilitating provision of Management Information in relation to Risk and Compliance and AML/CFT business as usual; assisting with ad hoc CDD queries; undertaking independent data searches/EDD searches; actioning Police Liaison Notice and Sanctions checks; helping update and review systems, controls, policies and AML/CFT documents in line with changes in legislation; drafting and reviewing compliance operational procedures; assisting with maintenance of Compliance Jersey intranet pages; maintain Risk & Compliance Jersey Knowledge Bank key reference documents; assist with desktop and on site examinations; act as Subject Matter Expert in business projects for Risk and Compliance and AML/CFT.
Candidate must have experience in Risk & Compliance/Financial Crime Prevention Role; good Understanding of AML/CFT legislation including Codes ofPractice and Handbooks; good knowledge of MS Excel; commercial outlook with innovative approach; good knowledge of law firm matters; Trust company business experience preferred but not essential; hold/studying towards Compliance and/or AML/CFT Qualification such as ICA qualification; excellent interpersonal, analytical, organisation and communication skills are crucial; able to stakeholder manage applying good influencing skills; able to work with minimal supervision and to tight deadlines; high level of accuracy and attention to detail; flexible, helpful and "can do" attitude; ability to prioritise, multi-task and work under pressure; ability to use initiative, whilst recognising when to seek technical help; innovative with change management.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
