Are you a Registered Compliance Officer looking for a new challenge? If so, please read on! Our client, a Private Bank is looking for a Registered Compliance Officer to focus on the Trust side of the business.
The role will include amongst other things be the key person to undertake the role of Registered Compliance Officer for the Jersey Trust Company business and acting as the appointed Compliance Officer for the Jersey Business. Undertake all Registered Compliance Officer duties for the for the Jersey Trust company.
To provide a pro-active and innovative approach to risk management in an evolving regulatory environment. To assist the CI Head of Compliance in the alignment and integration of policies, procedures for the Compliance team under the revised target Operating Model.
To undertake all Registered Compliance Officer duties for the Jersey Trust business. Be the central point of contact for the Jersey Trust Company in the Channel Islands in respect of compliance advice. Work with other functions to ensure that the business is regulatory compliant. To participate in various projects including, providing strategic guidance, research, devising policies and procedures.
You will have at least 10 years PQE and hold a suitable professional qualification such as ICA Diploma or similar. Working experience in Private Banking / Wealth Management / Trust & Fiduciary Services. You will work as part of a team or independently as required. You will have knowledge of legal, regulatory and industry requirements along with the ability to use the regulators' submission portals. Knowledge of business processes, standards and industry requirements. Experience of project management and be able to participate or lead/manage as required. You will have strategic and commercial awareness, be adaptable and have experience in problem solving.
