Our client is seeking a Portfolio Manager to join their Wealth Management division on a full-time basis. Job Duties:

  • Manage client relationships and individual portfolios, either independently or in conjunction with a Portfolio Director, ensuring: adherence to mandates, respect of risk profiles and fair treatment of clients.
  • Fully understand each client's family relationships, circumstances, risk profile, financial position, investment objectives, and restrictions.
  • Provide timely and professional client reporting.
  • Meet with clients regularly to update them, reassess their circumstances, and implement agreed actions.
  • Respond promptly to client enquiries and proactively adjust to changing economic conditions.
  • Actively support business development by identifying and converting new business opportunities into profitable relationships.
  • Assist with preparing investment proposals.

 

Job Requirements:

  • An approved Level 4 or higher regulatory qualification.
  • Willingness to study for and achieve the CISI Chartered Wealth Manager or an equivalent higher-level qualification if not already held.
  • Ability to maintain a Statement of Professional Standing annually.
  • Demonstrable client relationship and portfolio management experience.
  • Sound understanding of wealth management compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Relevant housing qualification to live and work in Jersey.
  • Professional, organised, and motivated with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to inspire confidence, build trust, and make sound judgements with limited information.
  • A team player who collaborates effectively across divisions.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • A commitment to learning and delivering excellent client outcomes.
