Portfolio Manager

Exciting opportunity working with Product Specialists to represent best thinking models and portfolio positions to Relationship Managers and be familiar with derivatives, equity asset/sub-assets; take part in investment forums; undertake specific analysis and simulations around variance, asset class correlations, volatility, potential drawdown, to understand impact of inclusion/removal of instruments on portfolio performance; develop proposals for changes to models and portfolios with respect to company results announcements, employment/growth figures, FX rates changes before determining response; make suitable adjustments to client portfolios; help manage larger, more complex client cases and bespoke portfolios; strive for improvements and negotiate with stakeholders; escalate breaches of policies and be risk aware; understand wider regulatory and compliance regime. 
Candidate should be CFA/CISI qualified with strong work ethic, experience managing money and strong client facing and communication skills across multiple teams; educated to  A Level and ideally Degree standard; financial industry experience ideally including an understanding of investment management; good knowledge of financial markets instruments, portfolio construction, risk management; multi-cultural working experience a plus; good control of Excel; attention to detail.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
