Pharmacist at Channel Island co-op Society

We're looking for an enthusiastic Pharmacist to join our warm and friendly team in Jersey. We have a genuine, patient orientated approach to our care and we pride ourselves on striving for excellence in all that we do for our patients and community.

This job has responsibilty for but not limited to: -

Dispensing of medicines, appliances and other medical devices as per Code of Ethics - In addition to dispensing drugs, treatments and providing advice, you need to ensure treatments are compatible, liaise with doctors and supervise pharmacy assistants and dispensers, as well as numerous other ad hoc tasks - Providing information and advice regarding drug interactions, side effects, dosage and proper medication storage - Providing specialised services to help patients manage conditions - Advising patients and selling appropriate OTC medicines.
