Job Description

Purpose of role is to understand strategy and philosophy, follow customer service guidelines and achieve business objectives whilst providing high quality service for internal and external customers; develop effective business relationships; maintain communication with colleagues and customers to maximise business performance ensuring communication delivered through use of most appropriate method; provide high quality advice in line with business strategy, underwriting policies, procedures and customer service guidelines; support achievement of business objectives; provide on the job training and coaching for colleagues; suggest ways in which work systems and processes can be altered and improved.
Candidate will be good team player; have great customer focus and results drive; change committed; professional qualification/substantial progress towards desirable, for example Cert CII; good level of general education including GCSEs/equivalent in Maths & English at Grade C or above; excellent inter-personal skill; experience of operating in a busy, customer focused environment; understanding of sales, cross selling and negotiation; general awareness of personal insurance theory and practices along with general knowledge of the personal insurance market advantageous.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
