Job Duties:

  • Manage and provide guidance to the People Operations Team, including training and support for direct reports.
  • Conduct detailed reviews of current processes to identify areas for improvement and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Provide workforce planning advice, focusing on role definition and team structure to improve agility.
  • Lead organisational design efforts, including the creation of people architecture, job families, and job titles.
  • Develop and implement a performance management framework that ensures fairness, consistency, and clear performance metrics.
  • Review and update systems, policies, and procedures to align with organisational values and goals.
  • Oversee projects and change management initiatives to streamline processes and drive automation.
  • Lead on risk and governance matters, including regulatory reporting and audits.
  • Collaborate with leadership to deliver initiatives that support business growth and protection.
  • Use data and MI reporting to analyse trends and recommend proactive solutions.
  • Manage employee relations issues, including disciplinaries, grievances, and absence management.
  • Act as a thought leader, promoting innovative approaches to culture and organisational change.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Degree-level education or equivalent qualifications in HRM.
  • CIPD Level 5/7 or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in project management and leading strategic change initiatives.
  • Strong ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and resource/budgetary management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of generalist HR practices and strategy development.
