Onboarding Manager

Our client seeks the right person to monitor and review new business applications and develop the team to maximise performance to deliver excellent client experience.  He/she will assess complex cases and demonstrate that business criteria have been met for new applications within risk appetite and source of wealth/funds validated using internet, Worldcheck/Finscan; assess applications for new clients and assess complex and higher risk cases; produce MI; conduct AML reviews; act as point of escalation to resolve client queries/requests; manage operational risks in accordance with local procedures; be proactive in identifying and proposing improvements; ensure proper record keeping within systems.
Requirements are 5 GCSEs with minimum grade C in Mathematics and English Language; National Certificate in Finance and Accounting; experience in Compliance/Risk/KYC/New Business role, with exposure to AML and CFT a distinct advantage; general familiarity with banking, investment management, trust and company administration, fund management and regulatory requirements in relation to personal, corporate, trust and fund clients; 5-7 years experience in similar role; 3-4 years strong experience of regulatory and banking risk environment, AML guidelines and application.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
