Job Description

This is a great role providing high quality secretarial and administrative support to fee earners and assist wider team in London and visitors to office as well as undertaking full range of office management activities.  Postholder will operate reception and switchboard; maintain client contact databases/lists, daily diaries and reminder systems; open and set up new files and matters; manage post and couriers; arrange meetings, lunches and conferences; organise travel arrangements and itineraries; resolve IT issues; liaise on HR matters; prepare staff expense claims; maintain records of senior staff firm credit card expenditure; produce and send monthly reports to Finance team; organise London office billing; maintain petty cash; order stationery and collect office supplies; organise office maintenance; take part in set up and maintenance of office systems and procedures; assisting with London office matters as to take-on and set-up; assist Marketing/BD team at London based business development events.
Prior experience working in a law firm environment is desirable as is experience of running a small office; must be confident user of key IT packages, including Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook; excellent copy typing skills; administrative and document management experience; ability to use initiative and work independently in a small office environment; flexibility; tam player; ability to remain calm when under pressure and to meet deadlines; accuracy and an eye for detail; ability to time manage effectively and to prioritise and organise workflow; strong communication skills; at least A Level educated; typing/secretarial training.
Three days per week.
It may be necessary to work flexible hours and spend some time in the Jersey office.
