Our client is seeking a New Business Underwriter to join their friendly Underwriting team, on a permanent full-time basis. You will be responsible for underwriting various new business cases in line with the company business appetite and strategy, as well as acting as a referral point within the team. This is an exciting role for someone with an underwriting background who is looking to join the leading general insurer in the Channel Islands in major growth mode. You will play a pivotal role within the business, assisting with the performance and success of the underwriting team. You will have a passion for service delivery, excellent relationship management skills, be a good communicator and team player. You will ideally have experience working with insurance brokers across a range of insurance products and may possess CII qualifications.
