Job Description

Our client, a global leader in corporate and fiduciary services, fund administration and capital markets is recruiting a Money Laundering Reporting Officer ("MLRO") to join the Compliance team in the Jersey office.

You will hold the registered position of MLRO for our client, to include the business and its participating members and its managed trust company. This will include the monitoring and developing (as appropriate) the controls in place, to ensure compliance with all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements and providing technical support and guidance to the Boards of the Directors of the business, the Compliance function and the wider business.

You will hold a Table 4 qualification such as ICA Diploma in Compliance with at least 10 years trust, company and funds experience, with at least 7 years at a senior level. At least 5 of those years will be direct Compliance experience. Comprehensive and up to date knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment in Jersey. Exceptional people management skills including effectively managing challenging situations. Great communication, organisation and time management skills. Training / presentation experience. Ability to negotiate and mediate.

You will have the ability to manage competing priorities. Professionalism, enthusiasm and flexibility. Ability to influence and deal comfortably with colleagues at all levels. An eye for detail. You will be able to work as part of a team or alone as each task requires. Self-motivation, proactive, analytical and investigative skills are all key skills required for this role.
