Our client is seeking an experienced Manager to oversee their fund and corporate services administration team, with a particular focus on real estate as an asset class. This full-time role involves managing client relationships, providing technical guidance, and supporting business development initiatives. The successful candidate will also assist with operational and strategic management while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Job Duties:
- Manage client relationships for a portfolio of complex structures, including Jersey Private Funds, Joint Ventures, and Club Deals.
- Provide leadership and technical support to the administration team, ensuring efficient workload prioritisation and adherence to deadlines.
- Critically review financial reports, including management accounts and investor reporting.
- Act as a "B" signatory on bank accounts and maintain confidentiality in client affairs.
- Liaise with third-party lenders, law firms, and asset managers regarding client matters.
- Identify and communicate service enhancements and profitability improvements.
- Support business development by nurturing relationships with intermediaries and exploring new opportunities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market changes impacting offshore structures.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal risk management frameworks.
- Manage risk situations to protect the assets of both clients and the organisation.
- Address client complaints promptly and effectively.
- Contribute to corporate governance by promoting professionalism, teamwork, and leadership.
- Assist with financial management, including achieving utilisation targets and managing aged debts.
- Support recruitment, training, and appraisals for team members, fostering a culture of continuous development.
Job Requirements:
- Professional qualifications in law, accountancy, or a related field, with membership in a relevant professional body.
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in fiduciary services, including 3 years in a management role, meeting JFSC category B guidelines.
- Proven experience in offshore fund and corporate services with a comprehensive understanding of fiduciary issues.
- Strong client relationship management skills and ability to handle complex structures.
- Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and time management skills.
- Understanding of financial markets and corporate governance principles.
- Experience in business development and marketing initiatives.
- Leadership skills to mentor and inspire junior colleagues.
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements within the jurisdiction.
