As a Manager, you will form a key part of our client's Financial Control team, and be responsible for all areas relating to the integrity of the general ledger. You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining the control environment, practices and procedures to ensure effective risk mitigation. There will be tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including month end reconciliation and review in accordance with IFRS, head office reporting, and ensuring that appropriate attestations are completed. The suitable candidate will be a fully qualified accountant with 3+ years' experience, have experience in problem solving financial control issues, good communication skills and an excellent attention to detail. Experience with creating tax returns, an understanding of regulation within a banking environment and past working experience on relevant systems such as PeopleSoft and TM1 will be beneficial.
