Job Description

A leading global fiduciary company has a vacancy for a credit manager in its Jersey office. The role is to predominantly maximise turnover & minimise bad debts. You will be leading the collections team whilst working in a fast-paced environment.

In addition to being the leader of the team, your role would include day-to-day management of the assigned ledger, establish policies, procedures & appropriate structures to manage credit control & cash collection within the Group, ensuring that policies are adhered to & escalate any problem clients, fee earners or debts to the relevant management team.

You will have 5 years experience in a similar role & have the ability to correctly identify clients who default on payment terms & liaise with stakeholders on the most appropriate course of action to take whilst considering the profile of the client. Produce regular reporting on status of aged debts & understand how KPI's are set & how to achieve them. Build a relationship with partners & fee earners to ensure the collection policy is adhered to & escalate where required. This role will be hybrid with travel to offices as required. You will be comfortable with working in a remote setting, whilst being supported by colleagues remotely. You must demonstrate that you are process driven with a view for continuous marginal improvement, strong management skills, ability to present both qualitatively & quantitatively. Ability to work under pressure & prioritise tasks as required in order to meet deadlines. You will be assertive, decisive & approachable with the ability to make decisions within authority & assigned responsibilities.
